As a new member, here is what it will cost to join GAR, MAR, and NAR during the month of January:

GAR's fiscal calendar starts on October 1st and ends on September 30th. GAR Prorated Membership Dues for September are $40*, plus the Next Years Membership Dues ($480). All invoicing occurs one month before the fiscal year begins.

Most Common Dues and Fees

GAR Annual Dues: $480 (Invoiced the first week of September annually)
One-time GAR Application fee: $1000.00 for all new applicants
MAR (Montana Association of REALTORS®): $345 Annual Renewal Dues invoiced the first week of December. ($380 Starting January 1, 2024)
NAR (National Association of REALTORS®): $150 Annual Dues invoiced the first week of December ($156 Starting January 1, 2024)

BSCMLS Application and Recurring Fees

Under no circumstance is any individual or firm, regardless of membership status, entitled to membership with the BSCMLS or participation unless they hold a current, valid real estate Broker’s license and offer or accept compensation to and from other Participants or are licensed or certified by an appropriate state regulatory agency to engage in the appraisal of real property.

The following service charges for operating the BSCMLS are intended to defray the costs of the service and are subject to change.

One-time application fee = $1000.00

REALTOR® MLS Fees = $600 Annual

Appraiser MLS Fees = $450 Annual

*Prorated monthly for new members

The BSCMLS application fee is non-refundable.

BSCMLS subscription fees for each office are billed annually to the Broker in Charge (“Participant”) on April 1st of each year. The Billing calendar is from April 1st - March 31st
