NAR Settlement Resources

On March 15, the National Association of REALTORS® announced settlement had been reached and it would end litigation claims brought on behalf of home sellers related to broker commissions. The agreement would resolve claims against NAR, state/local REALTOR® associations, and more than 1 million REALTOR® members.

The settlement is proposed and while we wait for court approval GAR is working to provide members with vital education and skills for success in what may be their new world of real estate. We will also be providing information on changes to rules, regulations and laws that may come out of the settlement if approved.

Preliminary approval of the settlement is expected in May/June with final approval in December. View the timeline.
